Autodesk Hits Portland 2022 at OMSI

Autodesk is coming back to Portland!

Join creative, technical, and marketing professionals for the return of Autodesk Hits Portland!

Kick off the evening by mingling with industry friends and peers over appetizers and drinks and trying out Xencelabs, 3DV, AMD, and ASUS ProArt's latest products and offerings.

Then, take a seat in the beautiful OMSI theater and enjoy Autodesk presentations covering entertainment and design tools and workflows in Maya, 3ds Max, ShotGrid, Bifrost, and Arnold. Presenters will cover animation, proceduralism, GPU rendering, USD support, worldbuilding, project management, and more. Plus, guest speaker and Portland local, Jordan Giboney, will give exclusive insight into Autodesk’s Portland-based product support team.

Ben Fischler
Director of Product Management, Autodesk

Ben Fischler is Director of Product Management for Autodesk's Media & Entertainment DCC tools. Based out of Portland, Oregon, with a background spanning over 20 years in VFX and Animation production, Ben focuses on how Autodesk will help the next generation of creators meet the content creation challenges of the future.

Jessica Beisler
ShotGrid Subject Matter Expert, Autodesk

Jessica is a production veteran with 17 years of experience in the commercial, film, and animation industries. Throughout her career, she’s worked for studios such as ImageMovers Digital, Scanline, DNEG, and Wildbrain (f.k.a. DHX). She loves working collaboratively with teams to create, manage, and streamline processes so they’re home in time for dinner. She joined Autodesk five years ago to pursue her passion for helping teams across the industry leverage ShotGrid to maximize efficiency and unleash creativity.

Scott Eade  
Technical Specialist, Autodesk

Scott joins us as a Technical Specialist with Autodesk’s Entertainment and Media Solutions group where he brings his skillsets to advocate products like Maya, Bifrost and Arnold. His professional knowledge extends over multiple focuses in the Animation, Film, Games and VFX industry including Modeling, Previs, Layout, Animation, Lighting and Compositing.

Jose M. Elizardo
Technical Specialist, Autodesk

Jose M. Elizardo has been with Autodesk, Inc., since 2007, where he first joined the 3ds Max development team specializing in rendering-related initiatives. Now a Technical Specialist for the M&E division, Jose’s focused primarily on promoting and evangelizing 3ds Max across North America. Before joining Autodesk, Jose worked in a Montreal-based VFX studio where he was mainly tasked with television advertisements and product-shot visualizations.

Jordan Giboney
Technical Enablement Specialist, Autodesk

Prior to Autodesk, Jordan worked as a 3D animator on video games, VR and international television commercials throughout the Pacific Northwest. She joined the Maya Technical Support team in 2017, and currently works as a Technical Enablement Specialist creating, curating and coordinating product training for internal employees and partners.
